About

Before moving to MN, Alexa lived in South Dakota where she began her career as a traveling physical therapist. Gaining a wide range of experience working in both smaller rural hospital and larger urban orthopedic settings allowed her to realize her preference for a smaller outpatient clinic with more time working one-on-one with patients.

Alexa has always loved the human body in motion and is passionate about helping others achieve health and mobility throughout their lifetime. She is a caring provider who recognizes that being healthy is more than a physical state of wellbeing. Alexa is especially passionate about assisting people with pelvic health conditions. Through her own pregnancy and postpartum experience, she has come to believe that women deserve more in their care, driving her to obtain advanced training in pregnancy and postpartum physical therapy. Alexa believes the human body has an incredible ability to heal and adapt, and the right facilitation can help people to move and feel their best.

As a busy mom herself, Alexa recognizes the benefit of maximizing in-clinic time with a multi-dimensional treatment approach. She blends hands on treatment, symptom specific strategies and education, and exercise prescription to promote a full system recovery from which she is able to teach and empower her patients.

When not in the clinic, Alexa can be found playing with her young children, weightlifting, gardening, watching her husband coach football, or traveling back to South Dakota to visit family.
